Nail Basics: Tools & Uses

In this Blogpost, I will be taking about the Basic Nail Tools & Uses to help you guys if you're just new in the nail world.

COTTON BALLS & Q-TIPS

Cotton Balls and Q-Tips are very useful. Cotton Balls is used to remove nail polishes with the use of Nail Polish Remover. While Q-Tips, just by dipping a Q-Tip on a nail polish remover, you can remove some nail polishes in the edges of your finger or foot where the Cotton Balls cannot reach.

NAIL POLISH REMOVER / ACETONE

This helps you to remove your current nail polish on your nails.

CUTICLE REMOVER & CUTICLE PUSHER

Using a cuticle pusher and ofcourse, this cuticle remover, apply it on your nail (I suggest using a spray cap so it's easier to use and it saves the product as well) this removes your dead cuticles and when using this, do not go all out because it will make your nail thin.

CUTICLE BRUSH

When your using the Cuticle Pusher & Remover, there will be some dead cuticles right? To get them out of the way, you can use this brush that is specially design for cuticles.

CUTICLE NIPPER

Do you ever get annoyed on the edges of your finger or toe? (particularly on your toes) These are some of your dead skin, so in order to get rid of them, use a cuticle nipper to get them. Again, do not go all out with this stuff as well because you might have a wound.

NAIL CLIPPER/CUTTER

This is the tool to cut your nails off.

NAIL FILE

When you're chipping your nail, the edges wll be sharp so use a nail file to smooth the edges, and this also helps to form out your nail as yu want them to be.

TINCTURE BENZYLET

If you have some wounds on your nail/ toe, this would help. It also gives a pinky color on your nails. You don't have to put this stuff on your nail. You just put them on the sides of your nail/toe.

BODY LOTION

This is not a pure nail basic but for me it is. haha. When I am cleaning my nails, before I apply nail polish, I always put lotion on my feet/hand.

TOP COAT/COLORLESS

After Applying your desired nail color, apply some top coat or a colorless to help the polish last and give a shine to it.
